Fabric Dyeing Workshop

Dyeing Workshop: 1 Day
Students will receive thorough instruction regarding:
-- smooth, even dyeing of fabric yardage and garments
-- deliberately splotchy dyeing
-- smooth gradation of shade or hue (ombre' dyeing) (we will practice this together in the session)
-- choosing and using various kinds of dye
-- tea dyeing
-- tie dyeing
-- painting fabric
-- aging and distressing
-- painting shoes
Appropriate ages: High School through College
